Our Story
The Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, a federally recognized tribal entity, is situated within Manistee County in the State of Michigan, approximately 120 miles from Grand Rapids and 90 miles from Traverse City. Given its geographical remoteness from major urban centers, the Tribe emphasizes self-sufficiency, operating its own governmental structure alongside various tribal support departments. Additionally, Little River Government Contracting is duly recognized as a certified 8(a) and HUBZone entity.
